Finally, I took the plunge and bought my first laptop. I was planning on waiting for my tax return to arrive, but I got fed up and just bought it. The tax return arrived before the laptop did. My shiny new MacBook Pro arrived on Saturday and its great.

Of course, I spent the evening loading software and such. The multi-touch trackpad is really cool and I’m finding myself using it for a lot more than I thought. I’m excited!

So I’m having a great week. First I went to the cast and crew screening of Beowulf on Wednesday night. It held my attention the entire time, which is hard to do. Plus, my name is in the credits! I was not expecting that at all.

Second, my new 20″ iMac came on Thursday, a day early. That made my day. It is super cool. Tonight I will install all the software and really run it through its paces.

Thirdly, I did a photo shoot with a model named Sid Levi. We did three setups and I think the final images are going to be really successful. It was mostly fashion and fun stuff. Her sister is a Playboy Playmate, Spencer Scott, Miss October 2007. She signed an issue for me.

So thats how my week is going.
