Alice in Wonderland Trailer
This has probably been the most fun I’ve had working on a movie. Everything looks amazing.

Today is the last day of official production on G-Force. I am on the show for another week to pickup any loose ends and possibly do some marketing shots. I worked on the show for 15 months and it has been nice to see it to the end. There is an updated website with a bunch of clips and a bit of my work.
New G-Force trailer! This is what I’ve been working on for the last year.
Disney announced today that the G-Force trailer will be available at Disney.com on December 29th.

I have been working on G-Force since May. Here is a quick summary of the movie and a few stills released yesterday.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer brings his first 3-D film to the big screen with G-FORCE, a comedy adventure about the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. Tapped for the G-FORCE are guinea pigs Darwin (voice of Sam Rockwell), the squad leader determined to succeed at all costs; Blaster (voice of Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude and a love for all things extreme; and Juarez (voice of Penelope Cruz), a sexy martial arts pro; plus the literal fly-on-the-wall reconnaissance expert, Mooch, and a star-nosed mole, Speckles (voice of Nicolas Cage), the computer and information specialist. Directed by two-time Oscar®-winning visual effects master Hoyt Yeatman—G-FORCE takes audiences on a high-octane thrill ride, proving once and for all that size really doesn’t matter. G-FORCE will hit theaters July 24, 2009.
So my start date on G-Force got pushed back twice since I last posted. My start date is March 3rd. Until then, its more artist wait mode for me. I’m trying to get in a couple of photo shoots before I start and do some retouching. I’ve been working on my website for DigitalKloc.com,
but it is taking longer than I expected to get the gallery code working the way I want.
I bruised my foot two weeks ago while hiking, so I have been taking it easy. Got new hiking shoes today for trail running. Hopefully next weekend I can start hiking again.
Hopefully I’ll have some more photo work to put up soon.
Starting February 11th, I will be working as an Associate Technical Director on G-Force. That is pretty much all the details that I have right now. The movie comes out May 1, 2009, so this should be a good year or year and a half of work.
Plot outline from IMDB:
A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world.
Should be a fun project to work on. I’m just glad that I don’t have to do lipsync to Nicholas Cage’s voice.

Stay tuned for the official artwork.
So I’m having a great week. First I went to the cast and crew screening of Beowulf on Wednesday night. It held my attention the entire time, which is hard to do. Plus, my name is in the credits! I was not expecting that at all.
Second, my new 20″ iMac came on Thursday, a day early. That made my day. It is super cool. Tonight I will install all the software and really run it through its paces.
Thirdly, I did a photo shoot with a model named Sid Levi. We did three setups and I think the final images are going to be really successful. It was mostly fashion and fun stuff. Her sister is a Playboy Playmate, Spencer Scott, Miss October 2007. She signed an issue for me.
So thats how my week is going.

I have been done working on Beowulf for about two weeks now. The last shots finaled about a week ago and the movie is done with color timing and is being printed for distribution right now. Its pretty cool to have finished my first movie. My name is not in the credits on IMDB so far, but I only worked on the movie for four months.
My total output in the movie breaks down like this:
My shots: 41.75 seconds / 1002 frames
Shots I lit parts of: 65.45 seconds / 1571 frames
Total: 107.2 seconds / 2573 frames
Right now I am on “Artist Wait Mode.” My job is to come in and sit at my desk for eight hours a day and then go home. They offer training classes and such that I’m taking. Learning a bunch of Shake stuff. Its fun, but it is also pretty boring. More updates coming once I have something worthy to say.
