Updated G-Force Website

June 26th, 2009 Brian No comments

G-Force PosterToday is the last day of official production on G-Force. I am on the show for another week to pickup any loose ends and possibly do some marketing shots. I worked on the show for 15 months and it has been nice to see it to the end. There is an updated website with a bunch of clips and a bit of my work.

I have been working on G-Force since May. Here is a quick summary of the movie and a few stills released yesterday.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer brings his first 3-D film to the big screen with G-FORCE, a comedy adventure about the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. Armed with the latest high-tech spy equipment, these highly trained guinea pigs discover that the fate of the world is in their paws. Tapped for the G-FORCE are guinea pigs Darwin (voice of Sam Rockwell), the squad leader determined to succeed at all costs; Blaster (voice of Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude and a love for all things extreme; and Juarez (voice of Penelope Cruz), a sexy martial arts pro; plus the literal fly-on-the-wall reconnaissance expert, Mooch, and a star-nosed mole, Speckles (voice of Nicolas Cage), the computer and information specialist. Directed by two-time Oscar®-winning visual effects master Hoyt Yeatman—G-FORCE takes audiences on a high-octane thrill ride, proving once and for all that size really doesn’t matter. G-FORCE will hit theaters July 24, 2009.

G-Force Again

February 16th, 2008 Brian No comments

So my start date on G-Force got pushed back twice since I last posted. My start date is March 3rd. Until then, its more artist wait mode for me. I’m trying to get in a couple of photo shoots before I start and do some retouching. I’ve been working on my website for DigitalKloc.com, but it is taking longer than I expected to get the gallery code working the way I want.

I bruised my foot two weeks ago while hiking, so I have been taking it easy. Got new hiking shoes today for trail running. Hopefully next weekend I can start hiking again.

Hopefully I’ll have some more photo work to put up soon.

G-Force

February 1st, 2008 Brian 1 comment

Starting February 11th, I will be working as an Associate Technical Director on G-Force. That is pretty much all the details that I have right now. The movie comes out May 1, 2009, so this should be a good year or year and a half of work.

Plot outline from IMDB:

A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world.

Should be a fun project to work on. I’m just glad that I don’t have to do lipsync to Nicholas Cage’s voice.
